ABOUT

Hey!! I’m Lauren, a 27 year old from Peterborough, England.

In July 2023, one of my closest friends did flower crown making for her hen do and I felt it was such a waste to let the beautiful fresh flower crown die… so I started researching how to dry and preserve flowers. I was able to dry some of the flowers and mix them with resin to make some earrings for my friend to keep forever.

What started out as a sentimental gift for a friend, turned into a hobby where I started researching and learning new skills, to now a small business that I LOVE!

All the products you see on my page are lovingly handmade by me.

When I first started, I used real dried flowers and epoxy resin to make all of my earrings (most still use these materials) but I have also learnt how to use polymer clay and UV resin so I have been able to create a wider range of products.

In July 2024, my youngest brother got married and I wanted to learn how to preserve their wedding flowers and make them into pieces they could cherish for a lifetime. I spent many hours practicing drying flowers in silica sand and even more hours researching how best to preserve dried flowers in resin. After lots of research and practice, I was able to preserve most of the flowers from the wedding and make them into pieces (including a coffee table and some freestanding resin pieces). Seeing how much money and time goes into choosing flowers for your special day / occasion, it seems such a shame to me that they then die and get thrown away. Flower preservation is such a special way to keep flowers from wilting and keep a momentum from your special day with you forever.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my page and read through this section. Your support means so much to me!!

Thanks so much, Lauren xx
